Machine: CORAVEL – Quality control of nut kernels
In combination with three sorting functions (air sifting, screening, ultrasound detection) we maintain, with this machine, a unique position on the market. In addition to the customary physical procedures such as air-sifting and screening, unwanted components are also identified by their surface properties with ultrasound inspection. From raw products such as nuts (hazelnuts, almonds, pistachios, cashews, peanuts, walnuts, macadamias) apricot kernels or chocolate-nibs a wide variety of foreign bodies are removed in this way.
The CORAVEL machines are for many years in use at some of the world’s largest confectionery producers and food processors.
